🎉 We are thrilled to share the fantastic news of Dr. Sungjin Min’s appointment as an assistant professor at Sungkyunkwan University’s department of MetaBioHealth!🎉

Not only is Dr. Min a loving and caring husband of Dr. Suran Kim, but also a brilliant researcher!  His time at SCBEL was nothing short of extraordinary where his dedication to developing highly mature and functional heart and lung organoid using innovative biomaterials as well as fluidic chips has left an indelible mark. His relentless pursuit of knowledge extended to their practical applications in the biomedical field such as tissue regeneration or drug screening. His passion for research has resulted in publishing his works in some of the most prestigious journals like Nature Materials and Nature Communications.

While it’s bittersweet that the time has finally come for Prof. Min to bid farewell to SCBEL, we will always cherish and remember how much he cared about and inspired all of the SCBEL family during his time here.  We wish all the best on his next journey as an independent researcher and professor at SKKU!
