
On episode 81 of the program '과찬의말씀' by NTIS, which mainly introduces excelling researchers who have made a significant impact on the R&D of Korea, our lab's principle investigator, Prof. Seung-Woo Cho, has made a special appearance as the main interviewee!!
Prof. Cho was recently introduced to the mass media due to his and his lab members' great achievements in developing a mature brain organoid in vitro which may change the paradigm of the field of biomedical engineering and medicine in finding a cure for various brain-related diseases such as Alzheimer's disease. This episode of NTIS interview has also focused on the same matter and dive into what he thinks of his current achievement and how it should be utilized to impact the world. He has also discussed deeper into another important aspect of his research with the main message "Discoveries can't change the world if they don't leave the lab' to motivate students, researchers, engineers and many more to participate in translational research to truly make the world a better place.
