The development of organoids, which are miniaturize organs that resemble the phenotype of actual in vivo organs derived from all kinds of stem cells, has give risen to various platforms as well as collaborative research with many other engineering fields, enabling studies from fundamental development, in vitro disease modeling, and all the way to potential use as regenerative medicine. To widely share such novel technology, Prof. Seung-Woo Cho has given a talk at the Organoid Working group (WG) open seminar on recent research results of organoid development at SCBEL as well as its prospects.
